Kisses
Isabel is spending a lot of time lately pursing her lips and blowing lots of spit everywhere. I'm sure it is just her way of trying out new facial muscles and sounds, but I like to tell myself that she is blowing lots and lots of kisses to me. I can't quite ever catch it on camera because she is too interested in the flash, but trust me, it is really cute!

Playtime Fun
We have been looking for an exersaucer or jumper for Isabel for a while now to try to encourage her to stand, but hadn't found one we like. We were doing our off-Friday shopping trip to Costco yesterday and came across across a random display of jumpers and decided to get one for her six month birthday present.
So far she's really enjoyed standing in it...or leaning forward as the case may be...because of all the new things she can try to put into her mouth! It is so fun to watch her try to hold herself upright to reach everything. At the doctor's office on Thursday she clocked in at 26 inches and 13 lbs. 11.5 oz., so she's growing like crazy and becoming such a big girl!

Love to Laugh
Isabel loves to laugh, she finds humor in almost everything. At the end of the day she tends to get a little slap-happy and will usually laugh at any silly noise or face that mommy and daddy make. Today it was me turning my head back and forth, yesterday it was me saying oopsie-daisies. It's a little hard to hear her, but Isabel's laughter is my favorite sound.
