And we're having a...

...BOY! We had our ultra-sound yesterday and found out that we are going to be having a boy due September 17. We are very excited, and can't wait for our family to expand.

I am so loved

This wonderful homemade chocolate cake, made last night by my wonderful husband, has been sitting on my counter taunting me all day. I managed to resist having a little sliver and was rewarded with some beautiful singing and lots of love.

Who needs toys...

...when you can play with a bucket of water. Isabel LOVES playing with water, so it is very fortunate for her that I'm willing to let her have as much as she wants when we are outside. :o)

Fireman Isabel

We had some new trees planted in our yard (yipee), and Isabel has had a great time helping me. She likes to be a fireman and drag the heavy hose around the yard.

Sun Fun

Isabel loves to put on sunscreen. Any time we walk out onto our back patio and there is a smidgen of sun, she asks for sunscreen. After I'm done with my part I give her a little dab and she smears it on her face, her shirt, her hair, the grill, whatever comes to mind.

Happy Easter

Happy and Blessed Easter to all!

We've had a wonderful weekend celebrating Easter. On Friday we all decorated eggs together for the Easter Bunny. Then yesterday the Easter Bunny came bringing Isabel lots of goodies. After a wonderful dinner, my sister and I finished off the day by attending the Easter Vigil at church which was very beautiful and moving. Today we are just hanging out and enjoying being together as a family.

Enjoying Springtime

We've been enjoying some beautiful 80° days, and have been making the most of them by spending as much time outside as possible. Isabel took Katie and I to the zoo this week and had a lot of fun talking about all of the animals.

Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate!

Isabel loves chocolate. So much so that sometimes when she knows she is going to have some she starts shaking from excitement. Needless to say she was over the moon when she got an Easter package from Grandma and it had a chocolate Easter bunny in it. The thing was gone in three minutes flat!
