Mom's Group
We had mom's group at the park yesterday. It was a beautiful day out and we all enjoyed just sitting around and soaking up the sun.

Big Girl
Isabel had her twelve month doctor's appointment today. She is well and happy and didn't even scream too much about her shots. She had a great time playing with the paper that they lay down and hardly noticed the doctor. Her stats were:
Length: 28 1/2 inches, 40th percentile
Weight: 17 lb, 15.5 oz, 8th percentile (much improved over last visit)
We do have to go visit a pediatric orthopedist because she is not crawling or sitting herself up or anything, but hopefully that won't be a big deal because although she isn't doing those things it sure seems like she could if she wanted to.

First Birthday
Isabel is one year old today! What an exciting day we have had!
This morning she played with her toys while mommy and daddy cleaned the house.
We had lots of friends over for cake and a party, yum-yum.
Opening presents was lots of fun.
We took Isabel on a walk around the neighborhood since this is her absolute favorite activity.

Windy Days
Spring is in the air, which means that it is starting to get really, really windy. But that doesn't phase Isabel, she still wants to get into her stroller and take a walk. She's a bit obsessed with her stroller right now and is actually pretty happy if I just strap her in and we just sit in the front entry-way for ten minutes.
