Exploring at Grandma and Grandaddy's House
Isabel had so much fun exploring and trying out new things at Grandma and Grandaddy's house. She got to sleep in a bunk bed. When I asked if she like liked it, she said she LOOOOOOVVVVEED having a roof. She explored the jungle in Grandma's flowerbeds and trees, getting many, many mosquito bites. She rolled down the hill in their backyard. She picked blueberries and raspberries with Ms Donna, and so much more. All in all Grandma and Grandaddy have a super fun house and Isabel has asked to go back every day since we've been home.

Travelling
I know I haven't posted much lately. But I really don't feel inspired to take many pictures when all we do is hole up inside all day to avoid the heat after an early morning trip to the pool. However, we have just returned from a week long trip to Lexington for my sister's wedding, so there are lots of things to share for a while. And I'm sure that in about eight weeks I'll start taking more pictures again, so hold tight, we haven't disappeared.
After picking us up at the airport, my dad took Isabel and I to the lake where Isabel got to take a boat ride, and take her first swim in a lake. She laughed like crazy at the fish nibbling at mommy's toes (I don't know what kind they were, they weren't big, but they sure had sharp teeth).
Cousin Walt introduced Isabel to the joys of cheese balls.

Isabel didn't particularly like not being able to touch the bottom.

Nor did she like having to share her floaty.

The boat ride was awesome, Isabel and Walt were on the lookout for deer (none were spotted) and cattails (of which there were many).

Aunt Katie was almost relaxed at the lake.
