Isabel's House

My mom made Isabel this awesome house that fits over our card table. In true Isabel fashion she totally ignored it at first, but now finds it one of the most fascinating things she owns. She loves ringing the bell over the front door and crawling in and checking out the cat my mom put inside.

Big Girl

Isabel loves wearing her big girl panties...on top of her pants and diaper. Yesterday she had on five pairs at once.

Big Girl Bed

We bought Isabel a toddler bed for her birthday. She went to the store with me and picked out a new blanket with owls on it. We haven't convinced her to sleep in it yet, but she sure does love to play in it. There is nothing better than dumping all of her stuffed animals and babies on it (there's 44 of them in case anyone is wondering), and having a party with them.

Birthday Week

Sorry about the lack of posts lately. I feel like I've been sick since Christmas, although I know there were some healthy days in there. I'm having a healthy day today, so I thought I'd try to catch up some.

Isabel had a great time having Grandma and Grandaddy here for her birthday. She loved having their undivided attention for a whole week.

12.5 inches of snow that is. The biggest single snowfall to ever occur at one time here. It's been a long time since I've seen this much snow. It is beautiful and fun, but now I'm done and ready for spring please.

Thursday morning they were predicting 2-3 inches of snow. So when we woke up and there was already two inches I took Isabel out to build a snowman. Around here as soon as the snow stops everything melts, so I figured by afternoon it would be gone....ha.

Friday...we woke up to just a teeny bit more.

Not sure I want to walk in that.

Nope, don't like it, let's go back inside.

Birthday Girl

This weekend we had a wonderful birthday with Isabel. Grandma and Grandaddy came to visit and we invited several of her friends. She was so excited to eat birthday cake and have everyone sing Happy Birthday to her.
