New Friends

Ella lives across the street, and she and Isabel like to get together and hang out (her mom and I appreciate it even more). It's nice having someone so close who is going through the same things, we feel so blessed to have such great neighbors with whom we've become friends. Ella is two months old, which is the same age as cousin Walt, so even though we've never met we think about him often.

Story Time

Isabel has always enjoyed looking at her books. She really enjoys when mommy and daddy make animal sounds, but the best part is apparently the book's supper yummy taste. She just got her second tooth in last week and I thought she might not want to chew on everything quite as much now, but if she's awake (and sometimes when she's asleep) she is always in search of something to put in her mouth. She's even willing to share with anyone who would like to give it a try, like grandma who was visiting a couple of weeks ago.

Eating Real Food

Isabel has been eyeing our food with great interest for quite some time now, so this weekend we decided to give her some cereal to try. She was so happy and gobbled it all down in no time! I can't wait to give her something more interesting, I think next we'll try sweet potatoes.

Keeping in Touch

I've been meaning to start a blog or website for a while so that we can keep in touch with everyone and show what Isabel has been doing lately. Amy has inspired me to finally get on the ball. I will try to keep up and include pictures and occasional video so that I don't have to send out mass emails to everyone. Enjoy!
